About Me

I am very passionate about electronics, particularly embedded systems. I studied computer engineering and work with basic ARM processors and FPGA's in my free time, I also have education in 3D modeling and enjoy working with 3D printing and other robotic systems. I am currently in my first year of Utah State University's Master's of Engineering in Computer Engineering. I am specifically emphasizing in embedded systems, VLSI design, and Computer Architecture. I enjoy learning new programming concepts and creating new capabilities for electronic systems.

United States Air Force Electrical Engineer
August 2020 - Present I created software implementations of communication protocols occasionally designing hardware adapters when needed. I also reverse engineered data captures to analyze protocols
Brigham Young University Idaho Digital Systems TA
April 2019 - July 2020 I helped create a constructive learning environment for students to help them learn the basics of Digital System Design using FPGA design with Verilog
United States Air Force Computer Engineer Intern
January 2020 - April 2020 I researched internet protocols and how they could be implemented in a customized environment. I also reverse engineered circuitry and gave constructive design feedback.

September 2021 - Present I am actively pursuing a Master's degree in Computer Engineering with emphasis on Embedded Systems, VLSI Design, and Computer Architecture
Brigham Young University Idaho B.S Computer Engineering
September 2018 - July 2020 I graduated Summa Cum Laude emphasizing in embedded systems and FPGA programming. I also participated in my BYUI branch of the Tau Beta Pi National Engineering Honors Society. I was very dedicated to my classes but also found time to participate in Ballroom Dance and other campus activities.

Volunteer Experience

Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints Missionary
May 2016 - May 2018 I lived in various cities in Uruguay, sharing my religious beliefs with others to help them and their families find greater happiness. I also did community service projects regularly and developed great communication skills. I enjoyed my service there and appreciated the cultural and other experiences that I had. I found meeting new people, learning a new language, and sharing life experiences to be one of the most rewarding times of my life.
May 2018 - Present I also regularly participate in my local religious group fulfilling a variety or roles at various times including helping religious leaders organize activities and meetings and teaching adult and children classes
