About Me
I am very passionate about electronics, particularly embedded systems.
I studied computer engineering and work with basic ARM processors and FPGA's in my free time,
I also have education in 3D modeling and enjoy working with 3D printing and other robotic systems.
I am currently in my first year of Utah State University's Master's of Engineering in Computer Engineering.
I am specifically emphasizing in embedded systems, VLSI design, and Computer Architecture.
I enjoy learning new programming concepts and creating new capabilities for electronic systems.
Work Experience
United States Air Force |
Electrical Engineer |
August 2020 - Present |
I created software implementations of communication protocols occasionally designing hardware adapters when needed.
I also reverse engineered data captures to analyze protocols |
Brigham Young University Idaho |
Digital Systems TA |
April 2019 - July 2020 |
I helped create a constructive learning environment for students to help them learn the basics of
Digital System Design using FPGA design with Verilog |
United States Air Force |
Computer Engineer Intern |
January 2020 - April 2020 |
I researched internet protocols and how they could be implemented in a customized environment.
I also reverse engineered circuitry and gave constructive design feedback. |
Education
Utah State University |
M.E. Computer Engineering |
September 2021 - Present |
I am actively pursuing a Master's degree in Computer Engineering with emphasis on
Embedded Systems, VLSI Design, and Computer Architecture |
Brigham Young University Idaho |
B.S Computer Engineering |
September 2018 - July 2020 |
I graduated Summa Cum Laude emphasizing in embedded systems and FPGA programming.
I also participated in my BYUI branch of the Tau Beta Pi National Engineering Honors Society.
I was very dedicated to my classes but also found time to participate in
Ballroom Dance and other campus activities. |
Volunteer Experience
Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints |
Missionary |
May 2016 - May 2018 |
I lived in various cities in Uruguay, sharing my religious beliefs with others to help them and
their families find greater happiness. I also did community service projects regularly and developed
great communication skills. I enjoyed my service there and appreciated the cultural and other
experiences that I had. I found meeting new people, learning a new language, and sharing life
experiences to be one of the most rewarding times of my life. |
May 2018 - Present |
I also regularly participate in my local religious group fulfilling a variety or roles at various times including
helping religious leaders organize activities and meetings and teaching adult and children classes |
